Oprah Winfrey reveals which two senior royal family members DID NOT comment on Archie’s skin colour

After hosting the interview of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Oprah Winfrey went on CBS This Morning the very next day and spoke about the moment everyone is talking about. Gayle King asked Oprah about the moment Meghan revealed that a member of the royal family expressed concern over the potential colour of Archie‘s skin. Meghan and Prince Harry indicated that it was a member of the royal family, but did not disclose who it was.

Oprah clarified this morning, “He did not share the identity with me, but he wanted to make sure I knew and if I had the opportunity to share it that it was not his grandmother [Queen Elizabeth] nor his grandfather [Prince Philip] that were a part of those conversations.”

For the unversed, in the two-hour-long interview, the couple revealed what went down behind the palace’s closed doors and life as a royal. While speaking about their firstborn, Meghan revealed that the firm was not going to give their child security and a title before his birth. When Oprah asked why Meghan revealed that in order to give their child security he would have to be bestowed with a title. “They didn’t want him to be a prince. Which would be different from the protocol. And he wasn’t going to receive security. This went on for the last few months of our pregnancy,” Meghan revealed during Oprah with Meghan and Harry.
