Beyonce sends supportive message to the Duchess of Sussex

Beyonce has sent a message of assistance to the Duchess of Sussex following her sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The 39-year-old singer – who previously met the Duchess and the Duke of Sussex at the London premiere of ‘The Lion King’ in July 2019 – has taken to her site to voice her assistance for the former ‘Suits’ actress, who admitted in her inform-all interview to getting suicidal thoughts right after joining the royal household.

Beyonce wrote on her site: “Thank you Meghan for your courage and leadership. We are all strengthened and inspired by you.”

The award-winning star and her husband Jay Z each met the Duchess in London, and Beyonce famously broke with royal tradition by providing her a hug at the occasion.

Buckingham Palace issued a statement on Tuesday (09.03.21) insisting that it was taking the Duchess’ claims in her interview with Oprah “pretty seriously”.

In the course of their sit-down conversation, the Duchess told Oprah that Prince Harry had been asked by an unnamed household member “how dark” their son’s skin could possibly be.

In response to the claims, Buckingham Palace mentioned: “The complete household is saddened to study the complete extent of how difficult the final handful of years have been for Harry and Meghan.

“The challenges raised, specifically that of race, are regarding. While some recollections might differ, they are taken pretty seriously and will be addressed by the household privately.

“Harry, Meghan and Archie will often be considerably loved household members.”

In the course of the interview, Prince Harry also revealed he felt “trapped” by royal life.

Even so, he does not believe he’d have attempted to break away if it wasn’t for his wife.

He mentioned: “I myself was trapped. I did not see a way out. I was trapped but I did not know I was trapped.”
